- "ik ben een Amerikaan. My mother is Dutch and half my family are in the Netherlands. I've been there several times to visit. It would be nice to meet some Dutch people in or near the Los Angeles area to share a stroopwafel with sometime. "

- What's your favorite dutch word? Are you fluent in Dutch?
- "I understand some Dutch but not fluent. I really like the word "ongelofelijk". It makes me laugh a little bit everytime I hear it. "
- What type of gatherings, activities or events do you hope to participate in?
- "St. Nicholas Day ! I want Pfeffernüsse! I'm also learning how to row and perhaps will meet someone that likes to go with me once in awhile. "
- What dutch food do you miss most?
- "Croquettes and Potat Frits and hagelslag on a biscuit cracker. I go to Trader Joes for Stroopwafels and Cost Plus for drop. "
- Where in the Netherlands were you born or lived?
- "I was born in the states. My mother is from Zutphen, my oma and opa were from Rotterdaam but I have family all over. One of my uncles live in Amersterdaam. "
